Wann ist die Checkbox dafür denn weggekommen? So here's what happened with #IngramSpark this week. Chris had done some work putting a history book together for a local (inclusive) synagogue, not at all billing for the true hours he spent on it (think, can you pick up these handwritten notes from an elderly rabbi).

With everyone complaining about Ingram Spark forcing the raising of retail discount to 40% across the board, I thought I'd run the numbers on D2D. But this is absurd. Yes, I don't make much on a paperback sale through IS (a little less half what I get from KDP) but it's still more than a dollar more than this. I feel like if they want people to only publish paperbacks through KDP, they're doing well...

Get yourself set up on Ingram Spark (now free) for print on demand, and Smashwords (Draft 2 Digital) for ebooks.

NB. If you use Amazon for expanded distribution you should be on Ingram Spark anyway. Amazon uses a company owned by Ingram Spark for its expanded distribution service, meaning they charge you the Ingram price plus their own fee. Cut out the middle man and save yourself some money.
