We have to stop letting our distractions that categories whether it be race, religion, gender, sexuality, and even political affiliation.

I guess Paul Verhoeven's nightmarish vision of the world is just what we should have expected from end-stage capitalism. Imagine the society they're planning for us while they drive around in these monstrosities.

She was a rare talent with a kind of humour that seemed like lightning in a bottle.

I’ve been watching Maya Rudolf in her AppleTV series ‘Loot’ — there are moments that I can only benchmark against ‘I Love Lucy.’ Rudolph is astoundingly good, and the show’s second season outstrips even its strong first one.

If you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend. A strong show, led by a strong and funny woman of colour that pulls no punches in its message.
