@anthropy I've worked on and with #AI since the 90s. One of the biggest issues I see now is that people think it's ONE THING. I treat AI/ #LLMs as #SpecialNeedsStudents some can see/others can't, some can remember/others forget, some can fold proteins/most can not. Many people use the wrong AI inappropriately then blame it when they don't get a correct answer. It is a tool. People are trying to write a thesis about Chaucer while using a Cook Book to do it. Then wonder why they have problems.

@dyckron It took me a while to understand that AI/LLMs are very much like #SpecialNeedsStudents Some can see the web, others can not; some can see images, others can not; some can remember past conversations, others can not; some can fold proteins, others can not. Most people say AI thinking it is one thing. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

@paninid @HistoPol @Outmazi I use all the AIs. LOL I treat them like #SpecialNeedsStudents: some can see the web and images, some are non-verbal, some forget things and have a short attention span. LOL. I have been trying to create an R script that prompts all of them the same thing, return the response to the promt and put the responses in a side by side table for comparison.

I started with Claude switched to Gemini when it coughed up chunks. I use AIs a lot and they all have their issues and biases.
