NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR APRIL 4, 2025:
A #high-pressure system will keep the #Northland #dry and calm #winds Thursday night. Partly #cloudy skies will keep low #temperatures in the 20s.
Friday will remain dry throughout the day as clouds increases and winds become light. Highs will be seasonally #cool in the upper 30s and 40s. Light #snow #showers return by Friday evening.

FINAL SNOWFALL TOTALS:
The third major #storm system to impact the #Northland this week is over.
As #forecasted, the North Shore saw the highest #snowfall totals over the past few days with 12 to 15 inches recorded.
The rest of the #Minnesota side north of Highway 2 saw the next highest totals of 6 to 10 inches.
Amounts were below 6 inches elsewhere thanks to the storm's #dryslot limiting precipitation.

After a #snowy Wednesday, the region is returning to more #spring-like conditions.
A few peeks of #sunshine are getting through the #clouds, a #breeze is calming, and #temperatures are closer to seasonal.
7 P.M. WEATHER UPDATE:
The #storm system bringing #snow #showers to the #Northland is focusing its impact on the #Minnesota side of the region.
#Blizzard Warning continues along the North Shore, and plenty of #snowfall totals are coming in.

#Snow #showers will persist through the #Northland Wednesday night as they become lighter and more scattered. #Winds remain #strong with gusts over 30 mph with lows just below the freezing point.
Thursday will see the snow move out with a bit of #sunshine after noon. Winds remain breezy as #temperatures #warm to the upper 30s and low 40s for highs.

4:45 P.M. RADAR UPDATE:
The heavy #snowfall has reached the Arrowhead and North Shore regions of the #Northland. It has exited the Twin Ports.
#Winds remain strong, with highest #gusts in Cook and Lake counties. #Blizzard Warning remains in effect along the #LakeSuperior shoreline.
BLIZZARD WARNING & UPDATED WEATHER ALERTS:
The final surge of #showers from our #storm system will pass through the #Northland through early Wednesday night.
The worst will be along the #NorthShore, where a #Blizzard #Warning is now in effect. Expect extremely difficult driving conditions through this evening.

We have one more big surge of #showers, which could contain heavy #snowfall, this afternoon and evening.

#Snow #showers are continuing to move into the #Northland. Not many have reached the ground, but those areas are growing.
Expect plenty of #precipitation over the next 30 hours. Some of the snow showers will be heavy at times.

A strong #storm system will bring #snow #showers through the #Northland Tuesday night and Wednesday. Some #snowfall rates will be up to 1” per hour at times.
Some #mixed #precipitation will take place over northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula. #Winds will be strong with gusts over 30 mph likely with #temperatures in the 30s.

#Snowfall totals will be lower in northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula as the forecasted movement of the #storm system will allow #rain, #freezing rain, and #sleet to mix in with #snow #showers Wednesday.
A #thunderstorm is also not out of the question.
LATEST STORM SYSTEM FORECAST:
The #Northland will be impacted by a strong Colorado Low #storm system from Tuesday night through early Thursday morning.
It will be #winter-like with plenty of #snow #showers. The North Shore and northeast #Minnesota will see the highest #snowfall totals, ranging from 6 to 18 inches.

NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR APRIL 1, 2025:
The #Northland will enjoy a #calm Monday night with #winds remain light. #Low temperatures will be in the teens and 20s.
Tuesday will see #clouds and winds increase ahead of a strong #storm system with highs in the 30s and 40s. #Snow #showers begin to move into the region by the afternoon, becoming widespread and heavy by Tuesday night.

While forecast #snowfall totals could shift, it is likely the #Minnesota side of the #Northland will see at least 6-inches by Wednesday night. The North Shore will see at least 12-inches in spots.
Minor #ice accumulations, up to 0.1", are possible in northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula.
A #thunderstorm or two also cannot be ruled out for Wednesday.
