The new controller support on the Satisfactory 1.1 Experimental build really does make it so easy to play on my FakeDeck™, and the game runs very well with decent graphics settings too.

Definitely worth giving a try to anyone with a Steam Deck and beyond.

So something I wasn’t expecting I’d be doing tonight. I wanted to sit down and play some Satisfactory on my ROG Ally and chill. Instead, I’ve just had to reinstall Bazzite.

I haven’t been able to update it for ages for whatever reason (it kept saying “An error was encountered during the update process, please try again”), so I was considering rebuilding it anyway, but I got bunch of errors randomly and had to reboot every time, so I just decided to do it now anyway.

I’m going away next week so didn’t want it to mess up whilst on holiday where there would be nothing I could do about it.

Anyway, now it’s reinstalled, the SteamOS elements on screen look really zoomed in and there doesn’t seem to be a way to natively change the resolution and/or zoom in the settings. Not sure if it’s meant to be this way or not.

Anyone else experienced this?

Why do I love handheld computers (Steam Deck/ROG Ally/Legion Go form factor) so much? I feel like in a few years they'll be in the sweet spot for me performance wise that I may not need anything else for gaming.

Starting my third attempt at playing #TheWitcher3, but this time on my ROG Ally.

Last time I tried was on stream, but I found it difficult to get into the storyline due to managing my stream etc and not being able to take in everything. I’m hoping can really get into this time.

I haven’t started and completed a game since May. I had plans to play lots of games this year but it hasn’t gone that way.

My #ROGAlly has gathered a bit of dust as well. Haven’t touched it in about a month or so.

Honestly, I don't see the point of having a third-party #SteamDeck going for more than $600. Makes no freaking sense.

After that price these compete in the #laptop space, where you can find superior SoC on all sides: #Zen4, #Zen3, #MeteorLake or #LunarLake. These win hands down no contest.
