Good morning Fellow Travellers around the Sun 
I've just finished a lovely long cuddle with Ziggy, who is still being very clingy since the Vet visit this week. I had a hard time getting her to go in to roost again last night as she was so determined to stay with me. She does this thing where you ask her if it's "Come! Come!" time and then she sneaks off down into the side of the couch making "Tee hee hee" sounds and trilling. It's very cute, so it's impossible to get cross with her...and I'm sure she knows that 
It's quiet on the crochet order front at the moment and I'm still waiting on an order of variegated toy safety eyes so I can finish the competition toy, so I reckon I'll either do some more gaming or work on Toby's telly net today - whatever takes my fancy once I've had coffee; the joys of a long weekend

I am up early with the parrots again this morning and for the next two. I've just finished a long cuddle with Ziggy, who has been extremely clingy with me ever since coming back from the Vet the other day, so much so in fact that she absolutely refused to go in for her dinner last night, even though she was clearly hungry. She kept saying "Come! Come!" which is Ziggyese for "Please take me back to my cage toot-sweet", but every time I took her over she just climbed right back up under my chin. Eventually some deft cardigan manoeuvring got her into the cage so I could finally get my own dinner, but she wasn't happy and started frantically contact calling if I even moved. It took a while, but eventually she settled. Bless her. 
I'm just up from another long lie as I was a bit knackered after the Three Parrot Vet Event yesterday. Happy to report all went well and they are all beak and nail trimmed for a while now. Toby also was given a good examination and a clean bill of health after his baby wipes chomping adventure earlier this week 
We are very lucky to have such good exotic vets, who all keep parrots themselves. One of them is going on leave for a couple of weeks and the other is going to look after her two parrots along with her own three. Total mayhem! Which she has yet to inform her husband about she told us. Parrot Slaves all of us

To be fair it's the usual two Hahns Macaws who give me the most grief trying to get them into their travel cages. Toby is easy enough to pick up and put in his special travel crate that he came over on the plane from South Africa in. Strap the crate into the front seat and we're good to go, with me and the girls in their cages in the back. It's quite an event though, so that's what I'll be doing today 
I'm up with the parrots again. Munching is well underway and I'm not surprised how hungry Toby is with the amount of feathers on the floor of his cage again today. That boy doesn't do moulting by halves that's for sure! The girls delicately drop a feather here and there, but he goes all out with the burst pillow effect 
I went back to bed and dozed for a bit when I realised my mistake, but had a strange dream about some political leader being assassinated. I don't know who it was though. My Dad dreamt about Kennedy's assassination a week before it happened. He told all his mates at work about the dream he had had as it disturbed him so much and they could corroborate his story. He still talks about it to this day.
