People ask me why I've advocated for #OpenSearch Project joining an #opensource foundation.
One of the significant advantages is adopting 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚.
While some steps have been taken before, like establishing a leadership committee with non-Amazonians, now the project will benefit from a full open #governance model, with the oversight of The @linuxfoundation
