Cainmark Does Not Comply 🚲

Bicycled 48.6 Kilometers of the Root River Trail from Rushford, Minnesota to Houston, Minnesota.

Trail was mostly clear. A couple of large puddles the only obstacles besides the numerous twigs and small branches.

The Houston Nature Center has the water fountain turning on April First.

Only had to stop once going there.
Had to stop to rest 4 times coming back.

Cainmark Does Not Comply 🚲

We went to the International Festival of Owls festivalofowls.com at the International Owl Cennter internationalowlcenter.org in Houston, Minnesota today.

What a fun, informative program. We learned so much. The presentation by Andi was so good.

Other 🦉 owls there, but Ruby the great horned owl was the star.

It's still going on later today and tomorrow, but we already feel like we got our money's worth of admission for today.

As an atheist, I rarely find myself inside churches, but for some reason, I love their aesthetics from the outside. And while I’m not big fun of the church as an institution, especially in the U.S., where it meddles in politics, tries to regulate my body, dictate who I can love, and trying to control what my kids learn in school, I still enjoy small-town churches. They add a certain charm to these towns, like a piece of history that somehow makes the place feel more complete
