A friend of mine was at the rally at the BC Legislature today in Victoria.
“Elbows up and arms extended to our American friends” was the message.
She said it was quite possibly the most moving protest rally she'd ever been to.
Canadian friends, DO NOT travel to the USA unless you absolutely must (say, for work) and make sure you have all your papers in order. Our government is warning that if you don't comply with electronic device searches, the US border cops may have you DETAINED.
