I wasn't questioning your modeling experience .I was just regretting that more people writing about technology adoption rates do not acknowledge the role of the fossil fuel industry impacting them in the clean technology arena.
That just seems odd that they've ignored learning curves since we have such good data on the rate of other technological adoption rates.

Homo sapiens are actually able to adopt new technologies more rapidly than most people realize.

I'm not too vested in what social media platforms may emerge as the "winners" so much as that solar, wind, and batteries follow these historic S-curve adoption rates homo sapiens have embraced past technological innovations that increased their quality of life.

I get push back from so many people when I ask them to stop stating that we are doomed to miss our targets towards limiting global warming that nO GoVErNmENts' pOLiciEs aRe StROnG eNoUgH, wa, wa, wa...
It's not governments or businesses that are going to get us to decarbonize in time.
It's up to consumers!

If you'd of paid attention to the climate crisis as long as have I, you'd have hope because of the rapid changes in our economies that we're seeing.
I certainly do know that without hope we don't have any, well, hope though.
