Having stayed in our newest #Eureka! El Capitan 4 (now called 4+ Outfitter) for two weeks I wish I had my old El Cap back.

They took a #tent that was quite good in all 4 seasons and made it a better Fair Weather tent — making it worse in less than ideal weather.

If you're thinking about going out to get the newly revamped model before they discontinue Eureka! Tents, read this first:

A green dome-style tent with extended vestibule is set up at a campsite with a fire pit which has not been used in some time. Brown and decaying leaves completely cover the ground having fallen from the deciduous trees that surround the campsite.

I go #Hiking every weekend and #Camping most weekends (yes, #Tenting, yes even #WinterCamping). In the #Winter you'll find me #NordicSkiing ( #CrossCountrySkiing ) and #Snowshoeing.

I also volunteer with #SAR (#SearchAndRescue), #Adventuresmart, and #EmergencyManagement organizations as a #Preparedness instructor.

Getting used to my , a . Really enjoying my so far, especially having Shift, Ctrl, Alt & Win on *both* thumbs, unlike .

Next step to increase comfort is trying : raise the middle part so that my forearm bones are less twisted and more towards a natural handshake position. Starting with ~ 16 mm (pictured left), but this could go way higher!

Glove80 split keyboard. The thumb cluster of the left half is raised about 16 mm above the other. One can see its legs are extended using threaded rods.

I lived in HCMC, Vịêt Nam for 2 different 3-year stints so I planned travel every time that I had a week or more off work. I generally planned (and booked flights!) a few months in advance. Generally, I'd stay at least 3 places on a 1-week trip, and I carried at least 1 big backpack, 2 for winter in Japan. I love to travel and see as many places as possible. It's absolutely not feasible if I have to pay hotel rates. In North America, #tenting is my superpower.
