Alex L 🕊 🇵🇸<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/@realestninja" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>realestninja</span></a></span> </p><p>That war is already there and sadly with stupid arguments instead of substantial ones like FOSS vs proprietary.</p><p>BTW yeah <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a> lets structure emerge as you type, while in other <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PKM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PKM</span></a> apps people go for "refinement procrastination" or "embrancing chaos".</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>ok <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> is turning into an obsession this very moment 😆 just spent hours transferring all the chaotic nonsense from my <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> vault (work, not personal) into my work related logseq graph. </p><p>suddenly it is so much easier to be on top of things. can't believe it. I have the same vibes that I had when I discovered i3 and noticed how using a computer feels when you are not fighting it all the time.<br>looking forward to observe how this goes the coming days when I just use the journal and connect things from there 🤓 definitely want this in my personal life too.</p><p>so my to do list for the near future:<br>1. migrate personal obsidian vault<br>2. create logseq memes<br>3. start a war between logseq users and obsidian users 🤡</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>OK so <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> is definitely not for kids. This guy wears a helmet when setting up the to-do list 😆</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>Everyone is choosing between <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> and <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> and then there is this big brain guy on youtube who just uses both and enhances his logseq experience by leveraging obsidian plugins LMAO</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>me rn 😆</p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/meme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>meme</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/shitpost" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>shitpost</span></a></p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>I feel like I have a crush on <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> now -.- Can't even concentrate on my work because I have to think about it LOL</p><p>I want to watch videos on how others use it cause it seems so different from <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a>, especially because there is no folder structure which feels weird at first but I assume that it is more powerful once it becomes a second nature 🤔</p><p>can't wait to find some time for this new rabbit hole 😆</p>
Kettwachsler<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.stefanberger.net/@stefan" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>stefan</span></a></span> I am using it since years and I’m wondering what’s your critics about stability in <a href="https://sueden.social/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a>?</p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>wtf it comes with a canvas whiteboard XD and with a flipcard feature. this might become one of my new favourite toys 😆</p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a></p>
Nikhil 🐧<p>I just installed <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> and I've been playing around with the demo file and I have the feeling that logseq might be a million times better than <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> xD another rabbithole. rip me</p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/hakken" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hakken</span></a></p>
Stefan :veritrek:<p>Btw. I switched back to <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mas.to/@obsidian" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>obsidian</span></a></span> from <a href="https://social.stefanberger.net/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a> </p><p>Obsidian works much more stable and fast for me. I also have the impression Obsidian improves at a much faster pace.</p><p>It's so good to use simple markdown files which can "easily" used in many apps. For the migration from LogSeq I only had to do some full-text search and replace.</p><p><a href="https://social.stefanberger.net/tags/PKM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PKM</span></a></p>
Alejandro Baez<p>I'm definitely having fun hacking away at <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/silverbullet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>silverbullet</span></a>. 😄</p><p>Right now, getting used to using the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/javascript" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>javascript</span></a> import. Which can effectively pull almost any js module. And with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/jsr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jsr</span></a> being a thing... let's just say silverbullet instance is going to get weird. 😅</p><p>I'm honestly surprised it took this log to learn of this gem. Likely due to my still very much liking <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>logseq</span></a>. Although... give me a few weeks... I'll likely build my own journaling system on this thing. 😇</p><p><a href="https://silverbullet.md/API/js" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">silverbullet.md/API/js</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

Anthony Bosio<p>Logseq update: So far so good. I've got a few pages going with links to sources and tags. I'm liking it.</p><p>I've pretty quickly stumbled upon the namespaces decision. I kinda wish the app at least distinguished between tags and pages. I feel like I at least need a tags/ namespace which just makes all the tag names 5 char longer.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a></p>
