"Weeks after deadly fires swept through Los Angeles County, the state regulator in charge of overseeing utility companies declined a request that would have required California’s largest utilities to update maps showing high fire threat areas.

Consumer advocates argued for more up-to-date maps that could help assess risk to communities and impose more stringent requirements for utility infrastructure within high-threat areas."

Good Morning from #Pasadena. Resumed our walks in #Altadena this week. Our first walk was great; where we went there had been virtually no damage. But that wasn't the case of our latest walk.

This area was a beautiful neighborhood full of amazing old houses and trees. At least 1/2 of those old houses seem to be gone, at first sight. But it's hard to tell with so many trucks everywhere.

Not feasible driving around for a look and I stay on the beaten track away from trucks and bulldozers to avoid too much toxic dust, especially with Moses.

Hey #Music Loves and Lovers.
Welcome to Ericka’s #vinyl rent party.
Haven’t quite recovered from #EatonFire, and with knee surgery coming, I’m selling some of the elite collection to help hit rent and bills. Fair warning: I’ve got some real heavy hitters, but they are all worth it.

Can do this via #Discogs, but if you just want to slide in the DM/emails, we can do that too. Posting here before releasing to public. If you can pick it up, it’s yours.
