Playland Clown

I never had the pleasure of visiting Playland at the Beach as it had closed a number of years before I made my move out west. I did however just visit a museum dedicated to Playland at the Beach called sensibly enough, Playland Not at the Beach. Playland Clown This is an image of the face of a bust of a clown that was a staple at "Playland At The Beach" that closed in San Francisco back in the 1970's. The amusement park had a number of clowns that were used as a mascot. I found this in a place called "Playland Not At The Beach". The eyes of this clown are what drew me in. The deep blue of the iris and the red and white flames gave me the creeps. His red tipped nose and red and white frown just adds to the creep factor. In processing I added some light streaks that help highlight some of these features. I hope you like it.
