Citing National Crime Agency figures, the BBC reported this week that Britain consumes 117 million tonnes of cocaine a year. That's almost 5kg per person, per day.

Per day!

With every British man, woman and child tooting at this level, you'd expect national productivity to go through the roof.

Fortunately the country's actual consumption is one million times smaller.
