So this was an experiment! Got a big jar, filled it with water, put lights on either side of it and then add some food dye. It was also a failure as it was not lit bright enough and I can to re-mix the dye because it was too thick. However, we got this weird picture out of it! ✨

I shared this hedgehog 🦔 earlier today on Mastodon, but I wanted to share it here as well!

It's the first hedgehog I've seen gnks year. It was a big one. Arwen stayed away from it when I told her to. I kept my distance and used the zoom of my phone. So the quality isn't the best. But I didn't want to get too close to the hog. 😊

Ow, I used alt bot 🤖 for the text, and it snuck in some April 1st silliness, so I kept it in. 😉 Just so you know.

A mar on American history in the sea of cruel treatment of women that occurred worldwide from the 15th to 18th centuries where the world of patriarchy and misogyny was used to control women, torturing and murdering those who didn’t comply or questioned commonly accepted gender roles. A time that feels we are still recovering from, that we’re still seeking the release from the silent oppression of, that we’re dangerously close to recreating in modern day society.

No, hold on, it is a person. They'll catch their death out there! It's so cold. Wait, those "Missing" posters around the neighbourhood for that kid - What if it's him? You have to go out and check. God, it's been days, he might be hurt! You walk briskly towards the street lamp. The air is freezing. You get closer "Hey! Are you okay?" "Hello! Do you need any help?". The figure turns towards you. Your blood runs colder than the air around you. It stares. It's not the missing kid. It's the reason he is missing. Oh God. How fast can you run? How fast can it run?
