? finally the U-turn
we have been waiting for ?

"WEST PALM BEACH, March 30 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald #Trump said on Sunday he will impose secondary #tariffs of 25% to 50% on all #Russian #oil if he feels Moscow is blocking his efforts to end the war in #Ukraine.

Trump told NBC News that he was very angry and "pissed off" when Russian President Vladimir #Putin criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr #Zelenskiy's leadership credibility, NBC reported."

»Right now, we have all heard from Russia Putin’s highly predictable and manipulative words in response to the idea of a ceasefire on the front lines—at this moment he is, in fact, preparing to reject it.

Of course, Putin is afraid to tell President Trump directly that he wants to continue this war and keep killing Ukrainians. That’s why, in Moscow, they are surrounding the ceasefire idea with such preconditions that it either fails or gets dragged out for as long as possible. Putin does this often—he doesn’t say ‘no’ outright, but he drags things out and makes reasonable solutions impossible. We see this as yet another round of Russian manipulation.

There was a U.S. proposal for an unconditional ceasefire—in the air, at sea, and on the front lines. We in Ukraine accepted this proposal. We have heard from the American side that there is readiness to organize monitoring and verification. And this is absolutely feasible—with American and European capabilities.

And during the ceasefire, to prepare answers to all questions about long-term security and a real, lasting peace, and to put a plan to end the war on the table. Ukraine is ready to work as quickly and constructively as possible. We have discussed this with U.S. representatives, and our European partners, as well as all our allies worldwide, are aware of it.

We are not setting conditions that complicate the process—Russia is. As we have always said, the only one stalling, the only one being unconstructive, is Russia. They need this war. Putin has stolen years of peace and continues this war day after day.

Now is the time to increase pressure on him. Sanctions must be applied—ones that will work. We will continue working with our American and European partners and with everyone in the world who wants peace—to force Russia to end this war.«

I think if #Zelenskiy had signed that deal nothing would have changed. In fact it’s the only bargaining chip so sign that away and Trump will exploit faster.

#Ukraine would have gotten nothing and be extorted for minerals.

The US is currently a bad faith actor so don’t make any new agreements with them. Trump has clearly shown a total disregard for the written law.

"L'incontro del 28 febbraio nello studio ovale di #Trump e #Vance con #Zelenskiy passerà alla storia per averci offerto una versione istituzionale della caciara da sciampiste che rimarrà insuperata per prestigio, almeno fino a quando il Papa non tirerà fuori un chitemmuort durante un'udienza"

What happened:
#Zelenskiy went to America to give Trump an easy win. A reconstruction plan relabelled as a mineral deal
• JD Vance saw an opportunity to sabotage given that Trump is a patsy, a controllable man child.

Elon has bought the Whie House and is controlling it with his plant.

Well done our King for greeting #Zelenskiy as a President, as a Head of state equal to Trump and for the photo of them together and only the King in a suit.

For the non-Brits, when we see #Zelenskiy we see WWII Churchill. Our guy. Our hero. The one who stood his ground and said no to the invader.

“As [former US] president Reagan once said, ‘Peace is not just the absence of war’. We’re talking about just and lasting peace – freedom, justice and human rights for everyone. A ceasefire won’t work with Putin. He has broken ceasefires 25 times over the past 10 years. A real peace is the only solution.”

V. Zelenskiy, March 2025
