We have seen more extreme weather already (#remember Leominster), and b4 this we knew that burning fossil fuels would make our atmosphere warmer, less stable, so I hope we're seeing real momentum in the way of adaptation and mitigation. Yes, I'm sure you already know about them and I know they've been there forever and I know they're practically an institution (I think I bought my first futon couch from them in the 80s?)...

but it was just *such* a lovely experience to go in and buy something local and spend the time having a lovely extended conversation with the staff person there (wish I'd gotten his name!)
