I also think your presidents visit to #Trump did some good & was very important.
But different than most think. I believe that it was a distraction and he was pulling the attention from something else. In consultation with the other European Powers.
But I don't know exactly what it is.

After being fired, #Shoigu has been removed from #Russia's leaders. This visit can signify him coming back into the circle. It's curious who nominated him for the visit - #Russia or #China. That could say a lot about the messages either country is trying to send to each other.

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei #Shoigu arrived in #Iran on an unannounced visit just days after he held talks in #Pyongyang with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Shoigu gave Iranian President Masoud #Pezeshkian a message from Russian leader Vladimir #Putin during a meeting in #Tehran.
North Korea sent its foreign minister to #Russia for her second trip in less than a year to the major backer of Kim Jong Un’s regime. The move comes as #Pyongyang readies for a parliamentary meeting that will likely approve measures that raise tensions with South Korea.
Her visit comes after Russia last week dispatched Security Council Secretary Sergei #Shoigu to Pyongyang . It was Shoigu’s second trip to North Korea in a little more than a year.

The Russian authorities will not negotiate with #Kyiv until they “throw out” the Armed Forces of #Ukraine (AFU) from the territory of the #Kursk region, said Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei #Shoigu.
"There is a very, very significant point - this is Kursk. We have not conducted any negotiations with terrorists, we are not conducting and will not conduct" Shoigu said.

now putin removes #Gerasimov, and gives him control over a section of the army in addition to the security service #FSB.
I see this as very dangerous for putin, if #Bortnikov starts to think that in the future he may be purged by putin.
