Mary McIntyre Astronomy<p>Yesterday in <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/Oxfordshire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Oxfordshire</span></a> the weather was better than we could have hoped for our <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/PartialSolarEclipse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PartialSolarEclipse</span></a> outreach event! We had between 15-20 people drop round during the 2hrs. We had eclipse glasses, projection, white light &amp; H-alpha telescopes for people to view. We had some nice optical effects too!</p>

CLondoner92 (New Account)<p>A vibrant youth-led exhibition was unveiled at Oxford Parkway Station on 27 March, featuring five art displays created by local young people. Supported by Chiltern Railways' Community Investment Fund, the exhibition enriches the travel experience by reflecting the area's culture. The event celebrated the creative achievements of the participants, showcasing their talent and the power of art to connect communities. Old walkerThe tower windmill at Great Haseley, Oxfordshire, England. March 2025. It was built around 1750 and is made of stone, but fell into disrepair by start of the 20th century.
