Precision machined metal dice, precisely balanced, the numbers are laser marked on the die, to not affect the weight distribution on different sides.</p><p>The number layout has been optimized so that the sum of all numbers on any given half of the D20, to be as close to every other half sum on the D20 as possible. I wouldn't even trust them to understand a bet on the horses. For a scientist to watch them is like observing a cargo cult.
