[Update: Thanks everyone for all the boosts and suggestions. I'm going to try Mailo as it looks quite good - looks like it will suit me. It's hosted in France, and after further thought, that might actually be better than UK, considering current the political environment - as long as we stay friends with France!]

Got to get off gmail - not comfortable keeping my stuff on a fascist enabling US-based email provider. It's not safe anymore if they will just bend over for anything #TrumpMusk demand.

Any recommends for a non-American owned, preferably UK-based email hosts that don't require your own domain? Happy to have something like cybervegan23812@whateverhost.co.uk. Doesn't have to be webmail, but I'd prefer it.

I know how to host email myself, but I DON'T WANT TO - too much hassle these days, and I also don't want to buy and maintain a domain.

Additionally, NOT protonmail, as we have had family trauma involving them as an accessory to a crime against us. We don't want to be constantly reminded of this.
