I really appreciate the fact that Freddy's Nightmares does keep the Freddy vibe going throughout. Everything is set in Springwood, Freddy pops up in some episodes as more than just a horror host and is often referenced, most episodes tend to have surreal dream sequences as a core series aesthetic which often works on a shot-on-video series like this, Nancy's house pops up from time to time.
