Call #Weird, call me SuperNerd, call me #nerd but I really enjoy doing this. Maybe it’s the #Learning, maybe it’s the #Fun, or maybe I’m a little more #Nerdy than I thought, but building out my #Homelab starting with #PiHole and working from there has been a wonderful experience. The documentation process has also been enjoyable; maybe it’s because it shows my work and what I’ve done as an #accomplishment

Interesting Wired piece by @clivethompson on getting things done and why we don't always. I used to keep a to-do list and I stopped. I used to use Workflowy and Remember the Milk for lists (both okay). But now, my email inbox is my to-do list for essential things. I'll write a tiny, brief to-do list on paper if there's a couple things I need to remember or do that day, but that's it. I don't keep a running one anymore. I don't find it useful.

I have an increasingly large list of projects I'm either working on or wanting to do. The worst part of me is when I start looking into a project for sheer curiosity, I inevitably start said project. This past weekend was the first time in a while that I actually completed a project. True, I got eye strain and a headache, BUT at least I got something done.

So, I'm super proud of myself for accomplishing a task!!!! I actually published a small chapbook. I know it isn't a big thing. But, for me, it was setting a goal and actually following through. So, even though a small achievement, I am super proud of myself.

Got the gas for the burner. Took the mini chainsaw out and wreaked havoc on some volunteer trees that had been ignored for too long, so they are *mostly* down. Still have a bit of work to do but arms were done.

I feel like I've accomplished a lot.
Just need to nag the hubby into being productive despite pain now.
