@terryenglish @ilyess @fedi just to clarify: its because the politics are historically dangerous, not because I don't agree (and not even because they're delusional!). I don't agree with most politics to some degree or another, and that's hunky-dorey! We all just gotta do our best and try where we can to not contribute to harm.
Anyway, I will def return to checking out kbin, thanks in no small part to your encouragement. (Sincerely!) I'm becoming a huge #fedi fan.

Apparently two of the founders declined to delete some debatable/negative content (by others) and some people believe that they identify with that content. I have lost track of what exactly that was. Lemmy (and kbin) is just fine and as good as any federated system. Some teething technical issues are being sorted out and the content is of better quality than you'd expect from such a new platform.
