RapidRoad seems to be quite good. Even without an additional power supply from the floppy disk my external 2.5" Samsung 500 GB USB disk is working, as far as I can tell.

Now I need to find a filesystem for easy file exchange (although I also have networking, of course)...

@nawi - not for me... still own 1x A3000/060, 1x A3000/040, 1x A4000T/060, 2x A1000, 1x A500 and basically at least 1x A4000D/060 & 1x A2000/060 (currently hosted at FU Berlin)

@ij Owned in the past A500(+)‘s, a A2000 with HD and, a A3000UX (dies at a fire years ago). Good machines.

@nawi - another A3000 of mine was killed by a lightning strike via ISDN line, including a CS MK2 card...

For some unknown reasons I also have an A3000/UX 3-button mouse, although I never have had an A3000/UX...

@ij Ahh, ISDN ... My A3000UX had also a 3 button mouse and, the tape drive. Got mine (with IIRC Ariadne network equiptment) from Germany as Austria is a littlebit prehistoric about this things.

@nawi - yeah, all big boxes also had a NIC like Ariadne 1 or 2 and graphic cards.

Actually one of my A3000 was used for betatesting PicassoIV prototype board that Klaus Burkert brought with him when he visited my BBS BBQ...
And my A4000T is from his collection after he died and I got the box from his brother. Still miss him as a friend...
