Is there any smart way to manage apps purchased outside the ? What I mean is to (semi-)automate updates, to avoid manually checking out website xy, manually downloading the and manually installing it. It doesn't need to be as smooth as with a proper app store.

took the smart way using for distribution. Now I got too, which is a direct download; more apps are likely to follow.

Two days ago, I bought a new license for in their shop.

And one day ago Threema published Threema Libre in their own repository.

This is amazing, because it already annoyed me, that the App Lounge showed me a pending update for the Threema app, but I couldn't install it, because I never bought the Playstore version.

Most importantly we can use Threema without any involvement from Google! This is how it should be.

Thank you @threemaapp!
