Is there any smart way to manage #Android apps purchased outside the #Playstore? What I mean is to (semi-)automate updates, to avoid manually checking out website xy, manually downloading the #apk and manually installing it. It doesn't need to be as smooth as with a proper app store.
Two days ago, I bought a new license for #Threema in their shop.
And one day ago Threema published Threema Libre in their own #fDroid repository.
This is amazing, because it already annoyed me, that the #eOS App Lounge showed me a pending update for the Threema app, but I couldn't install it, because I never bought the Playstore version.
Most importantly we can use Threema without any involvement from Google! This is how it should be.
Thank you @threemaapp!
